Sorry for the delay folks I have been rather ill which saw me having dizzy spells and almost fainting on saturday morning ..( Jason got his wallet out ) ! !! Rory ran a blinder on Saturday finishing fourth beaten a neck a head and a length .. Have faith ya 'all ! Today my old mate stu ( Ypres). Also ran a cracker to finish third at Thirsk in front of his many owners who had travelled from far and wide to see him once again put his best foot forward . My one big concern today was the ground as it poured down last night and to be fair the result today tells me just how well he did run . Stu prefers rattling firm ground , had that been the case he would have won today , so hats off to my old mate today . Peterhouse heads to Beverley tomorrow for his favourite ladies day date and not forgetting a race on the card named in memory to our dear departed friend Jilly Willows . She will be in our thoughts and how nice it would be if Pete could bring home the spoils ... He looks like a bull and even the farrier could not catch him yesterday which is most unlike our placid tempered friend .. Last seen bronking around his stable much to our amusement !! I shall check in tomorrow evening as we may be heading to Newmarket on Saturday
