Long overdue update

05/12/17

Sorry it has taken me so long to update the website, we've been so busy here with the sales, new horses and yearlings to break!

We have some lovely new horses to go to war with next year, some are yearlings and others are more experienced, highly rated horses. Exciting times ahead as we have fresh faces over the stable doors and new prospects for the coming season.

Maifalki ran a very encouraging race last week at Wolverhampton, I really did think he was going to win a furlong out, hopefully he can bring home the goods next time out. He's a great big softie of a horse and really deserves a nice win soon.

Rory has earnt his winter break after, once again, a very consistent year. He has now won on both Newmarket courses and will return for the turf season in 2018.

Ypres will run at Newcastle tomorrow and Monte at Chelmsford on Thursday. Good luck to all connections.

The kyllachy filly (Meerpat) who was purchased by Lamont racing from the breeze up sales is almost ready to run, she's a lovely filly with hopefully a big future.

The yearlings are looking fantastic and we are well underway with breaking them in. Some have now been up on the moor and the gallops, hopefully a Brocklesby horse amongst them to get us started early in the season!

So far, so good with the weather up here at the moment. We've had a dusting of snow last week but nothing to write home about. By this time last year we'd had significant snow a number of times! Hoping it's waiting until the 25th December haha

Anyway, I will endeavour to update the site more often, to keep you all updated.
